The campaign is a global campaign, meaning that every NBO credit card customer using his card for any POS purchases/Cash withdrawals anywhere will be eligible to enter a draw.
The draw will take place every Sunday and 5 customers can win up to RO 300 of their total spends for the past 6 days. The amount will be rewarded to the customer's account and not the Credit card account.
To be eligible for the draw the customer would require spending at least RO10. For every RO10 the customer will get 1 chance to enter the draw. At the end of the week the total spends for a customer will be calculated and the number of chances will be computed. For example if the customer spent RO157 from Sunday till the next Saturday, he will get 15 chances. In case he won, he will be rewarded with RO157 only. In case of customers who had spent more than RO300, they will be rewarded with RO300 only.
At the end of the promotion period there will be 60 winners in total.
Terms and Conditions
- These terms and conditions do not supersede or over-ride the current cardholder terms and conditions agreed to when the cards were issued to the cardholder and will remain the binding terms and conditions affecting the banks relationship with the customer.
- Covers all NBO Visa credit cards spend. The cutoff date for the transaction data being received by the bank for each prize draw is 24hrs prior to the closing of the draw file.
- Supplementary card spends will be accredited to the primary account holder and the relevant number of prize draw entries applied
- Only International and Domestic POS spend on Credit cards is accepted.
- Entry Mechanism - Master / Visa Credit card –OMR 10 per transaction = 1 prize draw entry.
- There is no restriction to the number of times eligible customers may enter the Draw.
- To qualify for entry into the prize draws the customer account must be in order and not delinquent or under investigation by the bank.
- Any transactions that have been considered for draw and then subsequently cancelled will be removed from the draw.
- Daily draws will be scheduled and held once a week at one time. If the Draw date falls on a holiday the draw will be conducted post the holiday.
- The bank reserves the right to exclude anyone from this prize draw campaign if they have reason to believe they have tried to breach the terms and conditions of this promotion.
- All winners will be notified via telephone and/or sms / email . The bank will make a reasonable effort to contact the customer and in case of non contactability the bank reserves the right to offer the prize to a substitute winner.
- If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of being run as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the bank, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the bank reserves the right in its absolute discretion to take any action that may be available to it, subject to Central Bank regulations, including cancelling, terminating, modifying or suspending the Promotion.
- The Bank's decisions in relation to all aspects of the Promotion are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Campaign will run for a period of three months
- All NBO retail credit card customers are eligible for the Promotion. Corporate card customers/Muzn/UAE are excluded from this promotion
- Staff and their 1st relatives are excluded from the draw
- Applicable on POS purchases/Cash withdrawals and online transactions
- Transactions can be domestic , International or even online and is not specific to merchant category
- There will be 5 winners every week and total of 60 winners at the end of the campaign.
- Draw will be held every Sunday.
- Minimum of RO 10 is required to qualify for the draw.
- Customer is eligible to win up to a maximum of RO 300 from the total transactions that were conducted for the week.
- The prize amount will be credited to the customer's account and not to their Credit Card account.
- For every RO 10 spent the customer will get 1 chance to the draw.
- RO 10 will not be per transaction but will be on total spends of that week.
- The week will start on Sunday 00:01 and will end on 23:59 Saturday.
- Customers who may have won a scratch and Win coupon at the Oman Avenues mall promotion will also be eligible to enter into this draw.
