At National Bank of Oman, we encourage the habit of saving and we aim to simplify our customer’s journey.​ Whether you are Omani or an expatriate, you can open a National Bank of Oman Sadara Priority Account if you meet any of the following requirements:

  • Minimum deposit of OMR 30,000 or above
  • Minimum OMR 30,000 investment portfolio or a systematic investment plan of OMR 700
  • Salary of OMR 3,000 credited to NBO
  • Loan of OMR 200,000 from NBO​


To complete the account opening process, please visit a National Bank of Oman branch near you, with your national ID Card/Passport and the rest will be taken care of by your Relationship Manager at the bank:

Required Documents

  1. National ID Card for Omanis / Valid passport and visa for expatriates.

Your Relationship Manager will help you complete the following forms:

  1. Account Opening Form
  2. Know Your Customer' (KYC) Form, which is a standard international best practice requirement. It includes information about your financial planning goals.
  3. Specimen Signature (SS) card
