The National Bank of Oman's Academy of Excellence, the training arm of the Bank, today continued to demonstrate its focus on technology and innovation with the launch of its e-learning delivery channel, @cademy 24x7. This follows National Bank of Oman's recent commitment to becoming a Bank focused on leadership in the digital sphere and which provides the best possible workplace for every employee.
In future, all of the Bank's online training will be accessed through @cademy 24x7 as it becomes the all-new digital avatar of the Academy of Excellence. With an overall aim of making learning and development more accessible than ever for National Bank of Oman employees, the first training course to be uploaded onto the @cademy 24x7 portal is on anti-money laundering. The formal launch of @cademy 24x7 was conducted by Mr. Ahmed Al Musalmi, Chief Executive Officer of National Bank of Oman, in the presence of the senior management and a number of bank staff.

National Bank of Oman's @cademy 24x7 initiative is designed to help staff in divisions across the Bank access the extensive range of Academy of Excellence programmes and training courses at anytime and anywhere. The launch of @cademy 24x7 is further reinforcement of National Bank of Oman's commitment to achieving digital leadership in banking. Earlier in February 2015, the Bank announced the launch of its new public website at www.nbo.om in order to provide customers with a state-of-the-art, intuitive experience.
The Bank's Academy of Excellence has been consistently delivering a diverse mix of high-quality technical and soft-skill courses aimed at various divisions and levels, and is spearheading the Bank's transformation journey. The sector-leading training courses are carefully designed to refine the skills and competencies of employees across all departments.
