Choose a Systematic Investment Plan (SIP), an investment vehicle offered by mutual funds to investors, allowing you to invest small amounts periodically instead of large lump sum investments.

  • The frequency of the investment is monthly.

  • OMR 10,000 deposit balance across all banking products

Privilege Banking Salary:

  • Minimum salary credit of OMR 1,000 into the National Bank of Oman account
  • If salary of RO 1,000 does not get credited within the last 3 months, the account will be downgraded


Privilege Banking T&C: 

The following terms and conditions apply to National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking accounts in addition to the general terms and conditions applicable to accounts held with National Bank of Oman (the 'Bank')

Privilege Banking Variants:

  • Privilege Banking Deposit

OMR 10,000 deposit balance across all banking products.
OMR 5 will be charged if the average balance is less than the minimum balance required in different Privilege Banking accounts in any month.

  • Privilege Banking Salary

Minimum Salary credit of OMR 1,000 with National Bank of Oman.
f salary of RO 1,000 doesn't get credited within the last 3 months, the account will be downgraded.

 

Membership:

The Bank may grant/refuse/withdraw membership to National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking customers.National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking Members may cancel their membership at any time by notifying their National Bank of Oman branch and returning their National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking debit and credit card and Privilege Banking​ chequebook to their National Bank of Oman Branch.

The bank may at its sole discretion issue a standard National Bank of Oman Card on the National Bank of Oman Card terms and conditions as soon as reasonably possible. From the date that a notice is given by a customer to cancel the membership, the customer will no longer receive the National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking benefits and privileges.

 

National Bank of Oman Platinum CreditCard:

National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking Members will be eligible for a primary and an additional Platinum Credit Card from the date that a Privilege Banking​ membership is granted. Issuing the Platinum Credit Card will be at the Bank's sole discretion subject to credit approval. The applicant should read the terms and conditions regarding the operation of the credit card and add-on cards, and confirm reading and agreeing to be bound by the same.

 

National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking Debit/ATM Card:

National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking Members shall be issued a special National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking Debit/ATM card. The operations of this card will be as per the terms and conditions applicable for the National Bank of Oman card. The National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking card shall replace the National Bank of Oman card for those Members who have already been issued the National Bank of Oman card. The applicant agrees to return his National Bank of Oman card to the Bank on receipt of the National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking Card.

 

Charges:

National Bank of Oman Privilege Banking Members shall maintain the minimum relationship value as per the Privilege Banking variants across their Savings Account, Al Kanz Savings Account, Al Amaal, Fixed Deposit, Instant Return Deposit, Long Term Deposit, Insurance, Investments and other Accounts.The Member authorises the bank to debit a fee to his Savings Account, Current Account or Al Kanz Saving Account if the minimum relationship value as per the Privilege Banking variants is not maintained in any given month, as per the Bank's schedule of charges.The same shall apply for non-credit of the minimum salary required within two months.

 

Amendments to the Terms & Conditions:

The Bank reserves the right to add, delete or modify any of the above-mentioned terms and conditions and such altered or additional terms and conditions shall be binding on all the existing customers. Any changes or amendment to these terms and conditions will be communicated 30 days in advance to the customer.​

You will be charged OMR 5 if the average balance is less than the minimum relationship value of OMR 10,000 across your Savings Account, Al Kanz Savings Account, Al Amaal Child Savings Account, Fixed Deposit, Instant Return Deposit, Long Term Deposit, Insurance, Investments, and other Accounts in any month. If salary of RO 1,000 does not get credited within the last 3 months, the account will be downgraded.

​5.      I am an existing customer with National Bank of Oman and my salary is above OMR 1,000, can I join the "Privilege Banking"? If yes, what is the process?
​Yes, you can join by visiting your nearest National Bank of Oman branch and request for your existing account to be upgraded to "Privilege Banking" account. You may also request for your new World Debit Card and Platinum Credit Card.
